355 Morning Star Way, Castle Rock, CO 80108
A gated Village at Castle Pines estate on 0.88 treed acres, extensively remodeled, with a climate-controlled wine cellar and tasting room, mountain views, and outdoor living on three levels.
This home is sited on 0.88 acres behind the gates of the Village at Castle Pines, screened by mature ponderosas with greenbelt at the back of the lot. The exterior is stucco and stone under a concrete tile roof. New flagstone paths and a water feature run along the front, and the mountain views open to the west.
An iron-and-glass door opens into the foyer, with the living room a few steps down from it: coffered ceiling, built-in bookshelves, gas fireplace. The newly refinished hardwood floors and trim brighten the whole main floor. The kitchen connects to the formal dining room through a butler’s pantry. The kitchen is new throughout: cabinets, quartzite counters, a Sub-Zero refrigerator, stainless double ovens, a gas cooktop set into a large island, and two pantries. A breakfast nook sits between the kitchen and the family room, which has its own stone fireplace. The office is also on this level, large, with shelving across most of the walls. Off the garage there’s a mud room with a utility sink, roomy enough to use as a quiet place to sit. A remodeled powder room rounds out the floor.
The primary bedroom has mountain views through windows on two sides and a new fireplace set into the wall it shares with the bath, open on both faces. The five-piece primary bath is all new with an air jet tub, a large shower, and heated floors, and the closet was redone with organizers. Three more bedrooms are up here, each with a walk-in closet and its own ensuite full bath. There’s also a loft over the foyer, new railings on the stairs and in the loft, new carpet throughout, and a laundry room remodeled with a utility sink and a wall of cabinets.
The lower level walks out to a covered patio. Its family room has a bar and a gas fireplace, and next to that is a climate-controlled wine cellar with a separate tasting room, set up with its own table, seating, and decor. The tasting room furnishings and decorations are included, and the wine collection can be included. Also downstairs: a powder room, a home gym with the equipment included, a guest bedroom with a Murphy bed, and its own new ensuite bath with a new steam shower.
The house has outdoor space on every level. A covered upper deck with a fire table looks west over the pines, a second deck runs off the main level, and a flagstone patio sits at the walk-out below. New concrete and flagstone paths went in with the rest of the work. Sprinklers run front and back, the landscaping is irrigated, and trees screen the lot on every side.
Built in 2000. 7,036 total square feet, 6,633 finished, 4,833 of that above grade and 1,800 in the lower level. Five bedrooms, seven baths, four gas fireplaces, forced-air heat, and three air conditioning units, one for each level. The three-car attached garage has epoxy floors, new doors, WiFi openers, and a Tesla charger, all of which stay. Video doorbell and cameras. The wall artwork is included, and the furniture is negotiable.
The Village is gated, with security covered by the HOA fee along with trash, recycling, snow removal, and private road maintenance. Residents use the pool, tennis courts, fitness center, clubhouse, playground, and trail system. Schools are Buffalo Ridge Elementary, Rocky Heights Middle, and Rock Canyon High, all Douglas County RE-1.

Downtown Castle Rock, the Promenade, and the outlet shops are 3 to 6 miles south, about 5 to 10 minutes. Rock Canyon High School is roughly 7 miles north. For weekends, Colorado Springs is about 45 miles south, and the I-70 ski corridor is reached through C-470, with Breckenridge and Keystone roughly two hours out. Daniels Park, Bluffs Regional Park, and the Village’s own trail system are all within a few minutes for hiking and biking.

“Real estate is an exciting field because it’s an area where being average doesn’t cut it. You really must excel. Most agents only do a handful of transactions each year. To be successful, you have to be more than twice as busy as average agents. To be that busy, you have to provide exceptional service to every client.”
Photos, videos, and floor plans are helpful, but there’s no substitute for walking through the home yourself.
